What information is collected
Through our SMS program, we collect your mobile phone number (provided at booking or through an opt-in form), your message interactions with us, and your opt-in / opt-out status. We do not collect SMS message content for profiling or marketing analysis.
How data is used
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are used solely for: (a) operational messages tied to your reservation or inquiry (booking confirmations, check-in codes, Wi-Fi credentials, post-stay review requests), and (b) returning-guest promotional offers if you have opted in. Data is never used for sale, rental, or sharing with advertisers.
SMS opt-in details
Opt-in is affirmative and explicit. You must check an unchecked checkbox on our Contact or booking form that displays: “Yes, send me text updates about my inquiry, booking, and stay. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text STOP to opt out, HELP for help. By checking this box you consent to receive automated text messages from VLB Properties LLC. Consent is not a condition of any booking.” Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for support.
Cookie and tracking information
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and session cookies used by our booking system) to operate our site, analyze usage, and improve the booking experience. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Cookies are not used in conjunction with SMS opt-in records to identify or re-target SMS subscribers.
Data security practices
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in records are stored in our reservation system and customer relationship management system (GoHighLevel), which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized VLB Properties personnel. We do not store financial payment data on our site; all payments are processed through PCI-compliant third-party processors.
User rights (unsubscribe, update info, access, deletion)
You may: (a) unsubscribe from SMS at any time by replying STOP; (b) unsubscribe from email by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link in any email; (c) request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@vlbpropertiesllc.com; (d) opt out of future communications entirely. Requests are processed within 30 days.
No sharing of SMS opt-in data (CRITICAL)
VLB Properties LLC does not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, affiliates, or marketing partners under any circumstance. This restriction applies regardless of any other data-sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

VLB may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within VLB, in order to determine what VLB services are the most popular.
